Working Conditions in Japan

国際教養コース２年生の生徒は、「日本における労働環境」についてのリサーチ・プレゼンテーションを行いました。リサーチを進めるうちに、他の国々と比較して、日本は過重労働の傾向にあるということが分かりました。政府による積極的な行動が、労働時間の改善には求められると生徒たちは結論付けました。社会問題について研究するのは、大変興味深いことです。自身が直面する様々な社会問題に、より多くの人が問題意識をもってくれることを期待します。

Students in the second-grade International Liberal Arts Course did presentations about their investigations regarding the working conditions in Japan. Students discovered that overtime work in Japan was high compared to other countries. The second-grade class concluded that more actions by the government were required to reduce the working hours, in particular overtime work. It has been exciting studying this social issue, and we hope to make more people aware of the different social problems we are facing!
