2A留学報告 (ニュージーランド)

I’ve been in New Zealand for about one month. Time goes by slowly and leisurely every day. I have gotten used to life in New Zealand. This is my first time living in another country, so everything is new to me. I was very nervous. But Kiwis are very kind and laid-back so they helped me when I was stuck. They are so considerate.  And they love ice cream very much.

I wake up at 7 in the morning on weekdays. Then I leave the house at 7:55, and I will go to the bus stop which is within about a 2 minute walk.It takes about 15 minutes to go to school by bus every day .

In a class at the local language school, the teacher explained the lesson for the first few minutes, and spent the rest of the time writing on the computer while chatting with friends around him.  It was a new class style for me. I had never experienced in Japan.

There are classes to learn about New Zealand culture at the local language school. I take a Māori class. l learned about Maori culture a lot. I saw a Māori performance for the first time. It was very interesting.

I stay with my host family and a Korean exchange student. We go to school together every day. We’re good friends. My host family and my friends bring me joy every day. I want to have fun during the rest of the time I have.
